Tansen Hyderabad Marks First Anniversary with Grand Culinary Celebrations

Tansen, Hyderabad’s premier destination for Northwest Frontier cuisine, celebrates one year of redefining luxury dining. Since opening its regal doors in 2024, the restaurant has quickly carved a niche as a sanctuary for food connoisseurs seeking authentic flavours, opulent ambiance, and heartfelt hospitality.

To mark its first anniversary, Tansen invites guests to embark on a gastronomic adventure through two exclusive food festivals: Tales of Arabia and Royal Kitchen, each offering a rare and immersive experience into storied culinary traditions.

Tales of Arabia: A Journey of Spices and Stories

From 17th to 19th July 2025, Tansen hosts the Tales of Arabia Food Festival, curated by the acclaimed Chef Pin. This limited-time experience draws inspiration from the ancient spice routes and the cultural exchange between India and the Middle East.

Guests can indulge in a luxurious spread where the elegance of Middle Eastern cuisine seamlessly blends with Indian culinary warmth—an ode to shared heritage, slow-cooked meats, aromatic rice dishes, and soul-satisfying flavors that linger beyond the plate.

Royal Kitchen Festival: A Taste of Colonial-Era India

The celebrations continue with the Royal Kitchen Food Festival, scheduled for 24th to 26th July 2025, crafted by the innovative Chef Anuj Wadhawan. This festival revives the lost flavours of Anglo-Indian cuisine, once savoured in royal residences and luxury train dining cars.

Expect comforting classics, robust gravies, and nostalgic delicacies that reflect a fascinating blend of Indian and European influences—bringing alive an era where tradition met refinement through food.

Leadership Speaks: Honouring the Past, Inspiring the Future

“Tansen was never just a restaurant—it was a dream to celebrate India’s glorious culinary legacy,” shared Amar Ohri, Director, Ohri’s Group. “Every dish tells a story and carries the joy of tradition. This first anniversary reflects our journey so far and hints at an even more exciting future. We look forward to taking Tansen’s magic across India.”

Adding to the sentiment, Neeraj Roy, General Manager of Tansen, noted:

“This celebration is a heartfelt thank-you to the Hyderabad community that embraced our vision. Through these festivals, we invite guests to explore the rich tapestry of flavours that shape our country’s culinary heritage.”

Celebrate with Tansen

As Tansen enters its second year, it remains deeply committed to offering guests experiences that are as memorable as they are flavourful. These festivals aren’t just about food—they’re about culture, storytelling, and bringing people together.

Join the celebrations at Tansen and be part of a culinary story worth remembering.
